Position: Office Manager

Reports: Country Manager

Location: Bamako, Mali

 Job Responsibilities:

Officer Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of the office.

  • Manages and organizes all the trips and missions of the management and entire staff of the Creditinfo VoLo (this shall include but not limited to ticket reservations, hotels, car rentals, etc.)
  • Organize the calendar and meetings (both internal and external) for the Country Manager
  • Assist in the development and performance of the external communication of the company contacts with the media and social media management (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Prepare documentation for management team.
  • Managing filing systems
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment
  • Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction
  • Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload
  • Responding to customer enquiries and complaints
  • Maintains office staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Perform any task that is deemed necessary for the proper functioning of the office.

Job requirements and qualifications

Bac+4: Management, Marketing, Knowledge in Accounting. A Master’s degree in Management will be an added advantage.

  •  Proven experience in administrative management, marketing and accounting
  • Supply Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Delegation, Managing Processes, Supervision, Developing Standards, Promoting Process Improvement, Inventory Control
  • Perfectly Bilingual: English and French
  • Experience in working for a major company / institutions
  • Sound knowledge of financial industry
  • Managing people skills
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise reports for management without too much supervision
  • Experience in working in a start-up enterprise from scratch and successfully managing  a growing team of staff
  • Have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in French and English
